The document describing the junior ranking system posted on this web site currently indicates that ranking points would be awarded related to NCSSAA, EOSSAA and OFSAA tournaments. Please note that the junior development committee has reconsidered this aspect of the ranking system and decided not to award ranking points for these events. The reasoning behind this change lies in the structure and organization of these events, where awarding of ranking points could create situations of unfairness to players not having access to these events. The document describing the ranking system will be updated at a later date to reflect this adjustment and possibly others in light of feedback and experiences gained during this first year.
