competition according to age (three doubles)
(Teams of less than 6 members will be disqualified.)
A Zone: Teams comprised of advanced-level
competitors.
B Zone: Teams comprised of players 55 years of
age and under
C Zone: Teams comprised of players 56 years of
age and over
D Zone: Teams comprised of players 66 years of
age and over
Age determined by the first
day of the tournament, October 17, 2008.
Any change of player’s entry
should be notified to Osaka Ladies Badminton Federation by September 30, 2008.

Competition method: All teams will
play a round-robin, pool play format
consisting of four to five teams in each pool. The
winning team of each pool (and in some cases the second-place team in a pool,
depending on the number of pools/groups) will advance into the main-draw
competition.
9. Rules: In
accordance with the playing rules and management
regulations of the Osaka
Ladies Badminton Federation
and the Badminton World
Federation (BWF)
21 points.
10. Qualifications: Female 23 years and older for B-D Zone. A Zone
competition
has no age restrictions.
11. Shuttlecocks: Yonex
AS-50
12. Award: A
Zone 1st place US$2,000, 2nd place US$1,500,
and 3rd place
US$1,000, plus medals.
B-D Zone
will receive medals.
13. Entry
fee: US$200 per one
team (check or credit card accepted)
Overseas teams are free from
the entry fee
All players will receive
tournament t-shirt.
US$20 per person for banquet party on Saturday.

allocation of teams is to be fixed at the discretion
of the host.
It is recommended that all members dress in
international team standards, with country and name on the back of shirts.
In case of injury during the games, first-aid
treatment is given. However, the host is not responsible for any other
treatment. Please complete the liability waiver and submit with entry form.
