Notice to ODBA Juniors

2011/2012 Travel Subsidy

Deadline for claim your participation is May 31, 2012

In order to qualify for the travel subsidy, the juniors must be registered in an ODBA affiliated club, and must have the affiliation fees paid for the participant in question on the application at the time of the tournament that was attended. Juniors can apply for a travel subsidy for any of the sanctioned tournaments in Ontario from the 2011/2012 badminton season. Applications can be sent to kevin.willington@odba.ca via email only by May 31, 2012. Only one application per household and the application must include the following information:

name of each athlete in the household
name and date of each tournament participated for each athlete
name to put on the cheque
address to send the cheque
name and phone number of parent/guardian of athlete

The amount of the subsidy per tournament is dependent on the number of applications and tournaments applied for divided equally within our budget. The ODBA BOD will contact you sometime in June once cheques are ready for distribution. Late applications will not be accepted. An email confirmation of all applications will be given out within 72 hours of receipt of application. If you do not receive a confirmation, please call Kevin at 613-406-3320.
