Club – Quick Facts
The West Carleton
Adult Badminton Club meets for recreational badminton every Wednesday from 7 to
10 p.m. at
The 2008 – 2009
schedule runs from September 17 to December 3, 2008 and from January 7 to May
13, 2009. There is no badminton on
December 10, 17, 24, or 31, 2008 or on March 18 or May 06, 2009.
The club also welcomes
junior members 15 years of age and up as of September 1, 2008 who are children
of an adult member of the club and are accompanied at all times by a parent
member.
The fee is $60 for the
season, or alternatively, $40 for the fall session or $40 for the winter/spring
session. Guests are also welcome at a
cost of $5 per evening. Guest fees are
credited against membership fees for those who subsequently become club
members.
This is a recreational
club. Players of all skill levels are
welcome. Matches are organized on an
informal basis. We encourage all members
to rotate between games so that everyone gets to play with a variety of
different players each night.
