Ottawa District Badminton Association is presenting
ODBA Sunday League
at the Turnbull School
We have started another badminton season on October 21, 2007. Similar to last year, we will run one league event each month:

The first 9 teams to register are guaranteed spots. Each team will play a minimum of 2 rounds and a maximum of 3 rounds.
If you don't have a complete team, please let us know and we will match you with other players interested in joining.

Format
- 4 men and 2 women on a club team play 3 mens doubles, 1 ladies doubles and 2 mixed doubles against a team from another club
- Matches: MD (M1/M2), MD (M3/M4), MD (M1/M4), LD (L1/L2), XD(L1/M2), XD (L2/M3). Each player will play 2 matches against another club.
Cost
- $8/person for ODBA players, $10/person for non-ODBA players, for each day
- Includes nylon shuttles
Registration
- New teams may join. Captains of teams should register their club by e-mailing the player names to

Please indicate your our own assessment of the team's strength (A/B/C).
Location of league:
- Turnbull School - 1132 Fisher Avenue (between Carling and Baseline)
- Access is through second building, first red door
Rules of league:
- All matches will be 2 of 3 games, rally points to 21
- Ties of 3 matches each will be by 1) Games Won 2) Points won.
- The official Shuttle is nylon shuttle. If both teams agree, feather shuttles may be used (provided by players).
Protective Eyewear:
- OBA-prescribed protective eyewear is strongly recommended for all participants
- Such eyewear is mandatory for all U19 participants in the Sunday league
- As a transitional measure, the ODBA accepts normal prescription eyewear with a signed waiver upon registration. Some protective eyewear will be available for rent
- Please ensure that for U19 participants, the waiver form below is signed before arrival and available at registration
